What is the name of your state? FL

Thanks for the Advice on how to start a new thread. I was going through Post Your Case and answering the quesitons and maybe 1 time out of 20 I would get to the correct screen.

The question I had was, if you marry someone who is constantly being harrassed for more alimony how do they determine what is yours and what is his. I am afraid to marry as then his ex would have a free for all with my assets as well. Do you need to keep your incomes separate and have 3 checking accounts etc??? What about if you wanted to make an investment...how could you do it only in your name if you were married?

In addition to this, you'll need to keep ALL of your incomes and assets seperate. Unfortunately, that means that the 2 of you can NEVER have any joint bank accounts, you can never own a home together, or a vehicle, boat, etc, together. Everything will have to be kept seperate.
I posted on your other thread, and with the apparently biased Judge your fiance has, you'll have to be extra vigilent about protecting your income, assets and rights.
