PA 46MPH in 25MPH using Acutrak

I know I wasn't going 46. No, most drivers don't stare at the speedometer every moment they drive. Cops may be unbiased but sometimes they need tickets at the end of the month to create revenue to meet their quota. Non-biased doesn't mean they don't make errors. I'll probably just plead...

So basically, if he stops the stopwatch too fast we can get a decent amount of error regarding MPH.

Fair enough. But I just don't see how Acutrak is not a speedometer. It measures time and distance. It's called a speedometer in every review. And every ticket example I see has a miles timed of over 3/10 of a mile, expect mine.

So how can you say for sure a cop just wasn't trigger happy? Isn't that subject to human error? It's basically a stopwatch, right?

PA 46MPH in 25MPH using Acutrak

If Acutrak isn't a speedometer, what is it? I have sites that say that it is. Can you describe how it works? The law doesn't say "may" From ABC News: "Pacing is a different method of measuring speed. Police essentially follow and match the car's speed and track it with a speedometer, which...
