This is called a self help eviction and it is illegal... changing locks or shutting off utilities is not legal

you are all judging based off me being a squatter but the law is the law and i have rights.

T everyone has rights... even squatters. I'm not less of a human. I'm living with my boyfriend so i dont need any rental history and this is a civil matter so they cant take it from my paycheck. I should have been evicted properly instead of them changing the locks on me

They can try to sue me but i have no assets... Its just a piece of paper to me. They on the other hand have money so i should be awarded for an illegal eviction

No they cant, what is the point of an eviction? They have to follow the legal process to evict me properly

The property is about $160-170k How can they just change the locks on me without properly evicting me? I should also be able to go back and change the locks since i have proof of receiving mail there for YEARS

How do i determine how much to sue for? Will a lawyer help me on a contingency basis i dont have money for lawyer fees
