medical insurance when on LTD
What is the name of your state (TX)? My husband is diagnosed with cancer, exhausted his FMLA and will start long term disability soon. Technically his employment will terminate when LTD starts. The question is whether we have to switch to COBRA at that time or there is a law stating that...- desperate_1

cancer diagnosis after enrollment period but before effective date
My husband increased his life insurance coverage through a group policy about two months ago for calendar year 2010. Out of the blue, he was diagnosed with advanced stage cancer about two weeks ago, there were absolutely no symptoms or signs of disease before that. We both are devastated but...- desperate_1
