Im really worried my court date is in 3 days

Ok, so I made a court date to see the judge... Did I turn myself in or did I not? Im a little confused on this.

What is the name of your state? NJ What are the degrees of theft in NJ? Like would 1,000 be a felony/grand theft or is it higher. I know it's different in every state.... Also, what would the punishment be for 1000 theft? :(

But isn't making a court date to see the judge pretty much the same as "turning yourself in"? and thats what I did. When I called the police in NJ ( I live in a different state now) they did not seem at all interested and told me to call the court house and they set up a date to see the judge...

When I called the police, they didn't seem that interested they said "No One is going to come looking for you" but I told them I wanted to Pay it off anyway so i can move on with my life, Then they gave me a court date in 2 weeks to see the judge, Its really hard to come up with that much money...

Thank you senior judge, that helps. :) What if you called the police, and told them you wanted to take care of it, and they set up a court date for you to see a judge about it? And yes there is a warrant for arrest
