    I'm getting screwed. 1099

    colorado. can I be fined as a 1099 employee I am 1099 independent contractor, working for a distributorship. The owner of the distributor ship is fining employees significant amounts. This, in accumulation should be in the 10s of thousands. Is this extoration? As a 1099 can I be fined?
