Can someone help me determine the category for "nature of suit"?

Thank you for the additional good advise. I'm also going to try to check with FiCen to make sure that form's former design did not violate any compliance issues.

Can someone help me determine the category for "nature of suit"?

Sure, I understand that. But it was their website that allowed the scammer to email me as them without even needing to hack their email system. And they were aware of this problem with their site too. They're the ones that told me about it.

Can someone help me determine the category for "nature of suit"?

Before my investigator was looking into it, and while he was on the case, I was doing my own investigating. And it seemed like either the exchange was hacked or it was an inside job. And it wasn't until 2 months of me looking into it and mailing/emailing them that their legal team got back to me...

Can someone help me determine the category for "nature of suit"?

The investigator has been looking into it but nothing solid yet in determining who did it. He is currently waiting for an exchange to get back to him in order to identify the identity of the account a crypto was purchased from in order to pay for a service the scammer used. But that might take...

Can someone help me determine the category for "nature of suit"?

Sure. I would love to hold that person accountable. But the way he was able to email me as an employee on demand, through the simple use of that form, put him in an undeserved position of authority. With no phone number to call the exchange, and him scaring the hell out of me for over 2 hours...

Can someone help me determine the category for "nature of suit"?

Thank you for your reply. But the example you gave is not nearly the equivalent of what happened to me. Not even close.

Can someone help me determine the category for "nature of suit"?

I think I may have found the info I'm looking for: "Negligence lawsuits are civil cases, also known as "tort actions". The plaintiff has the burden of proving all elements of the negligence tort by a preponderance of the evidence. "

Can someone help me determine the category for "nature of suit"?

Connecticut. The attacker scared the hell out of me and stole all of my crypto. I wish I saw a box for "negligence" (which enabled the damages that I've suffered).

Can someone help me determine the category for "nature of suit"?

Hello. I am working on filing a case against an exchange that I had used to buy crypto through. The problem is that I was hit by a phishing attack. And this attack was enabled by a form that is publicly available on the exchange's website. The attacker just had to have knowledge of the victim's...

    trademark infringment

I own a service related business. My business has a very, very distinct name. Put it that way. Someone, who's practically in my backyard, started a business with a name that includes the distinct part of my business name. I happen to have obtained a trademark on that distinct word within my...
