Do I have to give tenant access to basement in case of a tornado?

I wonder if OP realizes that getting the tenants out is no guarantee that they still won't try to make use of the basement in case of a tornado? If they find another home nearby - which seems likely given the school issue mentioned - then they may just try it anyhow, under the right circumstances.

    Rent Rebate?

Some buildings have water, some don't, but they aren't offering to let us shower or wash our clothes in those buildings, which is what I'm most anxious about. I have bottled water to drink, and I've been hauling buckets of water out of the pool for flushing my toilet. Ultimately, it's a pain in...

    Rent Rebate?

And, sorry, it's a percentage of the overall cost to the property.

    Rent Rebate?

    It's a separate bill.

    Rent Rebate?

Property management turned it off due to damage from the winter storm.

    Rent Rebate?

Oh, and, no, I can't prove their negligence. I doubt that any negligence exists.

    Rent Rebate?

I'm not exactly sure - revenge maybe, although I'm not proud to admit it. I'm angry at them for several other things. Here's my favorite: a while back, I had to have major surgery. I wanted to have my mother come and take care of me while I recovered. They said no - my lease limits overnight...

    Rent Rebate?

The official word - and I have no cause to disbelieve it - is that the freeze caused damage to some pipes and they have to keep the water off until it can be repaired.

    Rent Rebate?

What is the name of your state? Texas - I'm on day 9 of not having water. I pay my landlord for water. It's not a water utility issue - we've never lost service to the property as a whole, but some buildings in the complex have been turned off. Am I entitled to a rebate of some portion of my...

    Harassment Excessive Noise/ Threats

Not legal advice by any means, but is there a chance that you could spend a weekend out of town (witnessed) and see if the guy complains when you're not even home? That might be useful in proving that the problem is his, and not yours.

    Out of state visitation

Did you hire a child psychologist to look into the amount of time he is spending away from his father before you made that move? You're not fooling anyone - it's clear that your concern is for your wallet and not the child's well being.

Requirment to provide an ex spouse with current relationship information

Perhaps a workable solution would be to explain to the PC exactly why OP doesn't want the ex to have this information while offering to provide the information to the PC, so that he/she can run the background check.

    ADA and parking

We have spoken to the office building's property manager; she expressed a lack of concern. Unfortunately, it's a large office building and we don't know which of the many employers the offenders work for. We are willing to tow if it becomes necessary - we were just hoping for a kinder, gentler...

    ADA and parking

We have posted the signs. We really don't want to tow anyone's car (every one of those office workers is a potential customer, after all) which is why we were wanting to use the "close the parking lot" option. We may need to start doing that, though, unfortunately.

    ADA and parking

Sorry, it's Texas. We want to close it off because it's adjacent to an office building. It's closer to the office building than the office building's parking lot, so the people who work in that building park in our lot when they get to work at 8. Then, when our shopping center opens at 10...
