    Fine and penalty, then another penalty after it's over?

    so I live in Nova Scotia Canada and I got a fine ( 101 in the motor vehicle act, careful and prudent speed) for 6 points and 410 dollars and the automatic penalty for that is a 6 month suspension but I got 1 week suspension. A couple months later, the fine is paid off, I've done the one week...
