Can my family member testifying against me affect my car accident lawsuit?

Yeah, you never post about a injury you plan to sue or pursue damages over, that is your fault. It is like look look at me, I am going to get paid and can be used against you. Dum Dum time

Can my family member testifying against me affect my car accident lawsuit?

happens all the time, also happens when a business or person has less or no coverage at all. I have seen state min drivers injure people and the attorneys walk away with $300k plus since they identified other liable parties. I have also seen product liability cases where the judgement was in the...

Can my family member testifying against me affect my car accident lawsuit?

^ to help answer the above posts, I would imagine the faking injuries comment comes from them pulling case logs and files on previous suits and injuries. One thing I do know is lawyers are great at discovering all the previous dirt on their clients for both the plaintiff and defendant. Previous...

Can my family member testifying against me affect my car accident lawsuit?

On top of everything said, the $700k has to be recoverable. if the person that hit you has something like $25-$30k state mins then that is what you are limited to. You may however pursue a UIM -- claim against your own insurance provider if you can which often depends upon the wording language...

Re: Montana Tax Loop Hole and the Classic Car Industry

What is the name of your state? Montana So, it appears in the classic car industry has been flooding the Montana DMV with a large amount of vehicle titles and registrations. Montana does not charge taxes on vehicles which is very lucrative to the classic car industry since they can purchase...

Possible rollbacked odometer. Should I wait for the DMV or sue?

a lot of times a car fax discrepancy is someone keyed the mileage in wrong at some point -- either through the local DMV or in maintenance. I doubt you could sue anyone for that and it will be impossible to correct but I would take up your findings with Carfax

Their abusive/discriminatory language led to my firing

It would have to have been a pattern of behavior which you documented. I do not know your situation but it does sound like it is best to move on from this situation especially if you have many working years ahead of you. Good Luck.

Are HSA program monetary rewards considered contributions?

Wow, okay. Rally Health and Wellness rewards (which is what I assume the OP is getting) are awards/ rewards for reaching goals. They may reflect in the total contribution balance but you are not putting that money in there from payroll and it remains separate. So, you can use it for Health Care...

Are HSA program monetary rewards considered contributions?

Those are awards rewards not contributions so while it goes into your account and can be used for medical costs, they are not reducing your tax liability.

Other guys insurance co is making me deal with my own salvage and deducting the salvage value

Then I doubt very seriously you have ever had a UIM bodily injury claim for if you had then you obviously would be taking a different stance. Sure companies want to settle fast and quick when your damages are small and easily repairable to make you whole. Every personal injury attorney in...

Other guys insurance co is making me deal with my own salvage and deducting the salvage value

To get to that adequate insurance though is the tough part as your own insurance company goes to adversarial at that point and does not freely give that up. So, you are left to sue the individual who hit you and then add another suit for the UIM first party carrier whom your insurer is. Your pie...

Other guys insurance co is making me deal with my own salvage and deducting the salvage value

Okay, this would most definitely change if you are facing a min insured state liability limits of 10-15k and have 50-60k in medical expenses along with 25-30 grand in property damage with multiple vehicles. I believe insurance companies that can get away with damages of a lot less than the state...
