Very simple question
I'm 22. Why should I file if I had any income tax withheld? My employer DID withheld Fedral, FICA, and Medicare taxes. Thanks for your help.- saddened_tx

What is the name of your state? Texas ------- After reading the following page on the IRS website, am I safe to assume that I don't have to file for taxes since my gross income was $3500 (shown on my W2) last year? http://www.irs.gov/taxtopics/tc351.html I appreciate any answers.- saddened_tx
