    Regarding legal action - I think I understand why I would not be interested. When you have a private, sensitive part of your body that has been damaged or compromised in some kind of way, you want to protect it. You don't want to expose it to some kind of public battle in which savvy lawyers...

    I see. But also, wouldn't the doctor that performed the surgery try to deflect any relation between his treatment and any resulting damage? Because of malpractice potential. That is also why I thought to see another doctor, even if in the same network.

    I didn't speak to anyone because I was kind of embarrassed and was hoping this would all pass. And also I was kind of mad. Are you saying I should definitely speak to the same physician who performed the surgery (whom I dislike)?

    I haven't spoken to any doctors about this. I'm not sure whether I should go to another facility or stay within my current provider (all of the procedures thus far were done within a certain hospital network.) If I am contemplating a lawsuit, would I want to get examined somewhere else?
