    This is the sole reason we didn't start looking into this any sooner, she didn't want to cause any problems for herself while she still needed to work. At this point though, we no longer need the income from that job and she is ready to move on.

    Thanks for all of the responses, everyone. Just today, they've actually mailed her a check for the amount they are claiming is "correct". Even though she's already communicated that she doesn't accept their conclusion. She obviously won't be cashing it. We'll be consulting with a few lawyers...

    Thanks for the responses. As far as I understand what I've read of Nevada law, it seems to defer to Federal for areas it doesn't cover specifically and bonuses/incentives are one of those areas. I've read conflicting guidance on whether Nevada DOL or consulting an attorney would be a better...

    I'm her husband. Since I'm the one that figured out that she might be getting paid incorrectly, she wants me to handle as much as I can. She does understand that she still has to be the one to communicate with her employer or an attorney if we go that route.
