Thank you for this information. So it sounds like I had rights to my children's records, but the clinic insisted on authorization by the mother. Isn't this a violation of my rights as a parent? Like I said, the school costs are controlled costs which are borne by the parent that has primary. To your other point of gaining more details, I wrote in my previous post that I have contacted the providers. The information they gave is different from the figures my ex has given me.- Winsome

The controlled costs are those that a parent with primary custody will have to bear. This includes any school related costs. My ex has primary, and we have joint legal. Though we have joint legal, some of the activities and expenses were not divulged to me prior to signing up the children.- Winsome

Without the payment receipts it is hard to know whether she has or not. I checked with the providers since I wasn't getting information from her. For one of them, my son was enrolled prior to the divorce on a contract from 2018 till 2021. When I last checked, the dues weren't paid.- Winsome
