You should honestly consult an attorney to review your case and tell you what your options are. As the property (house, car, motorcycle, etc.) is in your fathers name and/or your name, an attorney would be able to explain to you what your options are and assist with the best course...
I understand completely, after years of clearing my credit and staying up to date on current bills, I am finally seeing the progress on my credit report. I know what Beth Ann is going through and I completely sympathize with her.
