Child support should come first. The only reason you may not be getting the full amount would be if he is also garnished for other children with orders on file first.
You can find out what he's making... here's a link to a calculator:
http://www.ngaaz.org/Input_Form_AD.aspx
or you can calculate it yourself from the DFAS charts available on the DFAS website.
Not only will your BAH, BAS & any other compensation or allowances be utilized to determine support, this is also non-taxable income & will be treated as such for any calculations.
Go back & ask for a clarification of your orders, or get attorneys involved & do it yourselves if you think you can agree. Specify pick up & drop off times & locations, as well as a 'waiting time limit'. (My order states 30min., but we also try to communicate if one or the other is stuck in...
And some mothers can't pump enough to even fill a bottle... and some babies won't go back to the breast after they've had a bottle. And "so much like the real thing it's hard to tell the difference" ... now that's funny!!!
Thank you, I will document the incidence & hope it doesn't happen again. I don't want to deny visitation (and didn't want to ask to trade weekends, as it was his time for Christmas day)... I just want the kids well being to be a priority.

My son was in the care of my ex overnight this past weekend. He had been diagnosed with strep, so I sent his antibiotics and instructions along and explained the dosage etc to his father. When my son returned home, he told me that dad only gave him one dose...
This evidently is more about you than it is about the child at this point. I would suggest you seek some therapy and deal with your own issues about wanting to be involved or not. Once you can descern the true motivation behind your possibly upending this boys life, you will be able to make a...
Why don't you ask your ex if this child's DADDY would like to ADOPT him now? That would probably be the best (and first unselfish) thing you could do for this boy.
What these folks are trying to tell you is that the 'father' has NO legal rights to the child right now. Until paternity is determined by the court (as you were not married) he is a legal stranger to the child. He can't sign away rights he does not have to begin with.
In CA mediation is required. You can ask for mediation to be done seperately if you are afraid of him or feel you will be intimidated by his presence. If you are concerned about violence &/or drug use you can ask for supervised visitation and drug tests. Be ready to submit to drug testing...
Just to concurr with Casa - I too have gone into Mexico with our son & without being questioned at all. Once on a cruise, other times on foot. For the cruise, I certainly had my papers ready, but no one ever asked for them - not the cruise line & not Mexican officials at ports of call.
I am in CA. Although some judges do tend to hyphenate - as that has become the standard, it will all depend on the relationship & how much Dad is really involved as well as the reasons each of you have. I just went through this and in my case, our children's names did not change.

The mediator's recomendation for timeshare in our case ~15-20% with one child and ~5-8% with the second child. (both increasing to ~20-25% over the coming years if certain parameters are met.) Based on this, what percentage does the court use to calculate...

My children's father is requesting the court change our children's surnames. We have two children: 11 years old and 4 mos old.
Has anyone ever experienced a judge changing a childs last name after 11 years? Aside from psychological ramifications - I can't...
I did this some time ago. CS paid through the state is often very delayed in getting to the CP. It was much quicker to have the CS paid directly. The option is always there to reopen with the state CS agency if needed.
Thanks to everyone for you comments... please note my concerns had to do not only with guns - but in that he was not wearing any safety gear at all. I have a hard time understanding how you some of you would be lead to believe that he is learning proper handling & safety if he was not wearing...
Thank you all for your replies. I have spoken with his father about shotguns & rifles in the past, but never handguns. I don't have a problem with bow hunting etc... but handguns just make me nervous. We live very close to one of the more notable school shootings in recent years & a close...

I received photographs of our 10yo son's vacation with his father from my ex MIL. One of them is of our son is aiming a loaded 9mm handgun. He is wearing flip flops & shorts ... he has no ear plugs or eye protection. I don't know much about gun laws - or...
