     Watch out for fake red light camera tickets, in California

     Apparently in California they need to prove it was you. In ohio all they need is a clear shot of the license plate and the owner gets a ticket. Unless you have already reported your car stolen before the photo, you pay.

     Schoolbus driver incident

     The bus driver would need to go to court. The cop doesn't need to witness it. He might not even need to show up in court. You can cross examine the bus driver. And yes, you can get the ticket days OR MONTHS later depending on the exact law in your state.

     I'm glad you weren't my lawyer. I just beat a speeding ticket by a crooked cop radaring in uniform from an unmarked car ON DUTY. The OP should let the cop FIND HIM with no help from himself.      NJSP lied about brake light, possible racist profiling?

     I realize hindsight is 20/20 but why not check the brake light with the cop there? Did he say to stay in the car? Maybe there is a video tape of the incident from his dash cam that you could request. If it shows the brake lights working there is your case.

     Are "beat the ticket" websites bull-s-h-i-t or do they work?

     I wouldn't purchase anything. Every case is different. You have to go into major study mode on your case and learn the law which applies to it like the back of your hand and learn every loophole and peice case law on it you can find.

      Id say the best bet would be to try to win it on a technicality. Go through the law with a fine tooth comb, then search through case law for similar cases found in favor of defendant (if any). A free trial subscription to a case law library can be found here...
