I recently purchased a 2008 GMC acadia. It was about 10 months old with 25,000 miles and the existing manu. warrenty. I ran a carfax and the title was clean. It was purchased from a GMC saturn dealer in idaho. During a recent rain storm i noticed that there was water leeking from the passenger door so I brought it into the local GMC dealearship because it was under warrenty. They found that the reason the door was leeking was because the car had been in a serious accident and fixed without reporting the vehicle damage on the title. After doing some research i found out that the previous owner of the car was Hertz rental. Is there anything i can do about this. Can a large company get serious body work done under the table like this. I have been trying to research my options but have hit a dead end. Please help.
