I want to serve my tenants with a Three day notice. My question is:
There are 2 people on the lease (domestic partners). Do I have to send 1 notice OR 2 notices (1 for each)? Also the amount owed is $2000, if I have to serve 2 notices would I have to split the $2000 between the 2 tenants?

There is nothing in the lease contract that says each is only responsible for half the rent.

As long as they both are listed on the lease they may be domestic partnered but if your state has no domestic partner protections then Ill bet the safest way is to send them each a notice , send one to each , and word it the same way you would to any other non married tenants and list the entire amount owed and make copies, staple one copy to each slip from the post office and send the notices via confirmed mail delivery or certified mail.
