My poor mother-in-law has been stuck in a case involving a property line for four years now. there has been a few pre-trials but no trials-trials. At this point she just wants closure but can't get on the docket. Whos responsibility is it to put a case on the docket the judge or the attorney (circuit court, KY)? Also she has already paid him a substantial amount yet he refuss to answer her questions or return her calls, should I be concerned with filing an complaint on him? That would just mean another lawyer and another lawsuit, right?
