i am a 16 year old female living in new hampshire. i live with my mother right now. my mother and step father do not get along with me. i would like to be able to get out of the house as soon as possible but i don't want to have to change schools, (i have been in 8 different schools since kindergarten). my best friends mother said that i am more than welcome to live with them. would i be able to do that even if my mom doesn't want me to? i should also probably tell whomever it may concern that i have tried to commit suicide twice before because of the fights my mother, step-father and i get into. please respond as soon as possible. thank you. jessica

I suggest you and your parents seek counseling asap through your school, the State or through private sources. One of the options discussed would be giving their approval for you to stay with your friends' family on a temporary basis.
Otherwise Family Court/CPS may need to step in and then you will be a part of the legal system. You may end up in a foster home not of your choice.
