I won today's round, a new judge heard evidence and dissolved the temporary restraining order. My ex of course lied through her teeth, (I wanted to say that now I know where my daughter gets her acting genes from) but when the judge asked specific questions about the incident, like who initiated the conversation, the placement of she and I during the incident, etc. she got all hung up in her own web of deceit.
My atty was 45 minutes late due to another hearing so the judge asked us to go outside before the hearing and to try to agree to a short term (2 month) restraining order, I told the ex's atty no way since they hadn't even made an attempt in three weeks to put the child in touch w/ me. He kind of said as an aside that this was a problem he had with his client and he said he was working
on it. He said he was a "father's rights advocate"-- bull... I told him I'd been hearing that a lot from him but never have seen evidence of it, then I told him let's go have a hearing, I'll do it myself.
Right after I started cross on my ex-wife my atty showed up and finished her off.....(my only question was "how many contempt motions have I pending against you for denial of visitation? she
couldn't even give the correct answer of 3.)
Next step is getting the stipulation needed to begin the supervised drop off and pickup for weekends-- why do I get the feeling they aren't going to be very helpful--- wish me luck,
it's Miller time!!
