I won today's round, a new judge heard evidence and dissolved the temporary restraining order. My ex of course lied through her teeth, (I wanted to say that now I know where my daughter gets her acting genes from) but when the judge asked specific questions about the incident, like who initiated the conversation, the placement of she and I during the incident, etc. she got all hung up in her own web of deceit.

My atty was 45 minutes late due to another hearing so the judge asked us to go outside before the hearing and to try to agree to a short term (2 month) restraining order, I told the ex's atty no way since they hadn't even made an attempt in three weeks to put the child in touch w/ me. He kind of said as an aside that this was a problem he had with his client and he said he was working
on it. He said he was a "father's rights advocate"-- bull... I told him I'd been hearing that a lot from him but never have seen evidence of it, then I told him let's go have a hearing, I'll do it myself.

Right after I started cross on my ex-wife my atty showed up and finished her off.....(my only question was "how many contempt motions have I pending against you for denial of visitation? she
couldn't even give the correct answer of 3.)

Next step is getting the stipulation needed to begin the supervised drop off and pickup for weekends-- why do I get the feeling they aren't going to be very helpful--- wish me luck,
it's Miller time!!

That is wonderful news - you're off to a good start.

Now I know that I was going to get the sherry out but after the day I've had I think I'll pass on that and head straight for the Glenmorangie. Cheers!

Remember the poster who took his case to the Judge Judy show after he drove from Ohio to Arkansas only to be denied visitation with his son? The episode was repeated today, and as I heard "Judy" ripping Eric's ex, I couldn't help but think how Her Honor might have a real hey-day with jYoung's ex.

Ah yes, Mr. Ziphash... HA! His troll wouldn't stand a chance with Judge Judy! I'd pay to see her rip into Mr Youngs ex !! Then we'd definately celebrate!!

thanks all, today I'm still frustrated as I am getting nowhere in regards to seeing this kid or even speaking on the phone to her.
Mom refuses to allow even a supervised pick up/drop off because without her agreement it won't happen. Best I can get on my own is a supervised two hour visitation which can't happen until
august 25th due to lack of available supervisors, and even then I can't bring my daughter's younger half-sister with me. This is killing me. I have my criminal arraignment Tuesday, have to see if I can convince the judge to remove the no contact restrictions.....
I can't understand how this woman can get away with this still
and how she can do this to a child who she knows has a loving father.....absolutely disgusted

Keep chipping away and keep the faith, jYoung. This woman (geez I hate being included with the likes of her!) is going down!!

Does your daughter handle these "events" fairly well? She sounds to be mature and sophisticated for her age.
