I live in Georgia and was pulled over and ticked for not coming to a complete stop at a stop sign, all though I did come to a complete stop. The officer (county) was parked in someone's drive way and his sight line of sight was not clear, as I went back and parked where he was and view the intersection. The trees blocked his sight of the intersection almost 98%, I have taken pictures of very thing, however, I wanted to find out it there was a law stating that a officer must be visible, as we saw his car in the drive way and you could only see 25% of the front hood of the car.

I called the police office and asked if there was a law and for a code to referance to look up, however, I was brushed off.

Thanks for any help.

I am a law school graduate. What I offer is mere information, not to be construed as forming an attorney client relationship.

Of course you would be brushed off! Don't do the obvious. That is like calling an insurance company and ask how you get out of paying your premiums.

Check the Georgia code and your local municipal code (county code) for such laws. In the Georgia code, I think it is section 40

Okay, enough of the fun! : - )
