What is the name of your state? Indiana. Earlier this afternoon I took a shuttle from Indianapolis to Bloomington. I was the last passenger to reach my drop off point. On the way to my drop off location the driver pulls the bus over and accuses me of stealing the tickets. I told him that I did not know what he was talking about. He told me look mother****er I know you got the tickets and told me that he was taking me to the police station. He take me to the police station where I was searched twice. Needless to say the did not find the tickets on me the officers apologized and told me to get lost and be thankful that Im not going to jail. The cop then gave me .75 to catch the bus to my apartment and the shuttle driver took off and left me at the police station. I think its ****ed up that he misplaced his tickets and then had nerve to accuse me and then have me searched by the police. Was this legal and can I sue the shuttle company?

Sure, you can try to sue them.

Speak with a civil attorney inyour area and see if you have a tort against the shuttle company. However, usually a criminal accusation that is not knowingly false is not going to get any attorney's blood boiling ... but, ya never know.
