What is the name of your state? New York
A tenant who lives in the same complex as I do accused my husband and me of stealing her beach chairs in front of all the neighbors and the rental agent sided with her. She wanted to go in my apartment to see if we had them. She said she called the Police. I said let them look. I am 70 years old and live in a fixed income apt. The rental agent threatened me by saying, just remember your coming up for recertification. I was horrified by all this. I just don't know what to do about this. I never touched her chairs. Any help on what to do would be so appreciated. Thank you.
