What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Texas

I am new to the forums and I am hoping to find my answers here. I am wanting to know that if you sign an acknowledgement of paternity in Texas does it have to be notarized to be valid?

Does the acknowledgement of paternity automatically put the fathers name on the birth certificate or would the father need to go sign the child's birth certificate?

Also is the acknowledgement of paternity automatically put the fathers name in the Texas paternity registry or is that a separate form?

If the acknowledgement of paternity is not valid due to it not being notarized can the presumed father be taken off of the child's birth certificate?

I have been searching the internet for this information and could not find any answers. If anyone knows please go into depth so I can fully understand.

I appreciate you taking the time to read my post and I hope someone will be able to give me the answers I am looking for. Thank you in advance :)

Most of your answers should be here:

If the AOP was witnessed by a 'certified entity' then it's considered valid.
