What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? CA
I have filed a response to custody and child support change in my court. I have additional information that I need to add to this. Is there a certain form I need to use to add this info to my declaration? I do not want to amend the entire response, just add some info and an exhibit. Thanks.

What you want is a supplemental declaration. I am not sure if that is exactly what its called on the forms...its what my attorney calls it.

Yeah, thats what I thought it was called but when I looked online on the Self Help thingy for forms, it is not listed. I am just going to use a Declaration form and go down and file it, asking that they add it to my previous filing. Hope that works.

It won't.... not like that. You don't just add to what's already in the court file. Your declaration must follow proper procedure.

Ok, well, I just went down to file it on my lunch hour. Spoke to a FLF, they said it was fine and then I went and filed it. FLF said to make sure I serve him with it.

They accepted it and said they'd add it to my response. I guess we will see.
