I have an administrative appeal that just made it into the common pleas court after exhausting remedy in agency.

The court at this current time has scheduled a time for my brief, then the state's brief, then my response to the state's brief, then the judge will make a decision on the case.

My question is: during an administrative appeal at this level, can i seek compensatory and punitive damages?

My response:

You have posted your question(s) on the wrong Board. This is the Family Law Board. Please go back to the "Forum Page" and choose the proper Board, and re-post there.

Thank you.

This was the closest board that I could find. Any suggestions?

My response:

You need to tell me what the underlying action is about (real succinctly). I knew that your post had nothing to do with divorce because there is no such thing as "administrative appeals" in Family law. Admin appeals has to do with licensing, or Social Security, or other State Departmental procedures, like adoption or custody - - and for these latter two, there are other Boards.

So, get back to me and I'll point you in the right direction (hopefully).

Ok. The case is an administrative appeal being appealed from the Ohio Dept. of Jobs & Family Services [formally dept. of human services].

My response:

Try the Employment Law Board. Be more specific with your situation, and remember to mention your State of Ohio in the first sentence of your post.
