Im a mother of two in Indiana. I have one child through a previous marriage in which the biological father has nothing to do with. I recieve child support weekly, due to garnishment. But he has no physical contact with my son. He has not seen or spoken to him in 7months. My new husband is wanting to adopt him. Im needing to now if I can get my ex on abandonment so my new husband can adopt him or not.

Since he is paying CS and it has only been 7 months, then no. The best you can do is ask bio father to allow an adoption and see what he says.
