My mother-in-law has been taking care of a little boy, since he was born. She took him from the hospital and has had him every since. The mother was suposed to give him up for adoption to my mother and father-in-laws. Blaine is now, almost, 3. His mother wants him back. She is not even interested in him. She is back with his biological father (who is black). The biological father has never even met Blaine. He just doesn't want white people raising his "son". He has made threats of leaving her if she doesn't get her son back. He has three other children, none of which he has custody of. She has a total of 6 children. Three of her children, she has given up. Two of them live with my mother-in-law. The other two are fully adopted. There wasn't any problems with Blaine; until, my parents filed for adoption. Are there any laws to keep Blaine with us? We love him very much and don't want to loose him! (IL)
