As a sibling of an adpoted brother , I would like to know what steps I can take in finding my brother. I have a original birth certificate , as well summon & petition .
I live in the state of ny I am 26 of age , he should be 23.

If you have all that information, go to the state vital records section and start there to find him or her. See if you can do an internet search. Big question: does he want to be found?

Perhaps speaking with a family law attorney in the state in which he was born may be a good start? http://www.attorneypages.com
