I have some friends that are currently pregnant. They had wanted to have an abortion and my wife and myself talked them out of having an abortion. They do not want the baby and have ask my wife and me to adopt the baby. We want to adopt the baby and are very excited due to the fact that we can not have children. What are the steps that we need to take? We have talked to any attorney and she said that there were forms on the internet but I can't find them. We are not well to do when it comes to money but we can offer the baby a good loving home. Can anyone help?

Really, you need to hire an attorney to help you with this. Adoption isn't a DIY project.

You NEED to hire an adoption attorney to make sure that the adoption is done in a legal manner.

I presumed the "they" referred to both parents, because "they" were talked out of an abortion. So "they" would have to be both mom and dad.
