What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Colorado

Is it legal to produce/film adult movies in colorado? If yes what do i need to do to start? (permits,laws, ect)

That's an topic that's really too broad for answer here. It would behoove you to seek out a lawyer. I don't know what sort of "adult" material you are really talking about, but Colorado does seem to be tightening up the rules on obscenity, so I'd certainly want some local expert.

Starting up a film business in general is going to probably want a little legal assistance on: incorporation (or filing the appropriate DBA declarations), model/talent releases, tax/pay issues for your employees and "talent", etc....
