What is the name of your state? New Jersey
I'll keep this to the simple facts and question:
I am being sued in small claims court. Upon filing my answer to the court, I received a "request for answers" by the plaintiff that had a list of "interrogatories" attached. These are questions they have in relation to the lawsuit.
Am I required to answer these questions or can I wait to argue/answer these queries in the court? I am concerned that something I respond with can be used against me in a way in which I did not intend.
Thanks in advance!
