What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? TX

Hello,

I am working on my municipal cases in which i took to trial and was successful considering the what the judge would have ruled and not dropped any of the "charges".

I did a motion for new trial and my question to you is this, if i have found new case law from late 08 that will help my case i need to have it in the motion for new trial so the appeals court will examine it. When I do my amended motion for new trial do i do the whole motion from the original with the added points, or just an amendment adding the new points.. Thank You for your time as this advocate for our rights appreciates it..

Usually i get everything thrown out before trial:cool:

When you file amended motions you are supposed redo the entire motion adding your new stuff. You do this because the motion supercedes all prior motions and the judge is only going to look at the latest motion.
