What is the name of your state? IL

I received a notice from my attorney two weeks ago that our case was discharged, explaining what it means, why types of dept can be discharged, etc. I was expecting an official type of document from the court - the one everyone religiously says here to hold onto. Then last week, I got a "notice of closure" from my attorney, saying our case has been closed.

What does this mean? And will I get something official from the court or is this it?

You should get something from the courts yourself. Likely, the lawyer is following your case on Pacer.
Give him a call and see when you can expect to receive your discharge. The courts in Il. are really backed up from the deluge of bk filings last month. It may take some time.
