What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Wisconsin
We had an air conditioning unit replaced in July, 2014. Come May, 2015 it wasn't blowing cold air. Company came out and tried to find the leak for which I was billed and paid for the visit. They didn't find the leak, but used a leak stop thinking that might (but not guaranteed) to fix the problem. A month later it was blowing cold air again. Same guy comes out again and performs a more thorough test he said he probably should've done the first time. The test showed a leak out at the unit (the one they installed). They didn't charge me for the labor, but charged for the freon ($75). I know it's only $75, but just don't think I should have to pay since 1. the leak was at the unit they installed and 2. if they perform the most thorough test the first service visit, I don't need a second service visit. Do I have a legit argument or should I just pay the $75?
