my husband was divorced from his ex in fla and she was awarded alimony indefenatlyand now she is remarried and her and current spose's asset and income are greater than ours and they are buying new housea cars boats etc. is ther a chance we may be able to get the alimony stoped. she is healty and works and there are no minor children .

My response:

If his court orders DO NOT say that Alimony ceases upon death or remarriage, then he must go back to court to Petition for termination of the Alimony. Until that happens, he must continue to make those payments.

the devorce states"untill the wife dies " do you think that can still be modified?

My response:

Well, that's specific.

Whomever advised that your husband should sign that Marriage Settlement Agreement, and actually agreed to it, should both be disbarred and shot, in that order.

Since she's not dead yet, there's nothing to modify. Your husband appears to be stuck with what he agreed to.
