I'm asking this for my brother because he isn't on line yet. He's been married for 23 years and seperated for 6 months. This has been an extremely abusive relationship on him. For a change it isn't the woman it's been my brother. He has requested a divorce from her and she said he had to pay for her laywer and she wants alimony. They have no assets and no children. He has filed a restraining order against her because she's extremely volital. Can he get a divorce without her consent? Does he have to pay alimony? Does he have to pay for her lawyer? Paula2s

Can he get a divorce without her consent?

Yes, but that doesn't mean he can have whatever he wants.

Does he have to pay alimony?

Possibly. Would need more info, wouldn't we?

Does he have to pay for her lawyer?

Maybe.
