i reside in calaforina,and filing for a divorce without an attorney.what are my chances of requesting alimony or spousal support?been married ten years no children.spouse resides in louisiana .what will the judge look at for this request?thanks

I am not a lawyer but I think you could have a chance at support. If your spouses incomes is higher at least somewhat or you have been at home raising children, these factors could all come into play.

You can request support when you file your petition. My opinion though is a lawyer could help you. Perhaps try to get a free consultation or see if the legal fees can be chargeable to your husband on a final settlement. Good luck.
