What is the name of your state? My state is Florida. After a lengthy seperation I am finally divorced. My ex and I were married 25 years before it was finalized and I am paying a substantial amount of alimony. When I agreed to the alimony amount my income was $350,000/year. Today, it is probably around $175,000. I understand that in Florida it takes a "significant" change in circumstances before a judge will consider a reduction in alimony. What does "significant" mean and how long does the significant change have to be in effect?
