My wife left me 18 months ago and I now take care of her daughter from a previous marriage. Am I allowed alimony? We have not seperated , but she just up and left. Do I have to pay her any money for support?

It's hard to say whether she or you would be eligible for spousal support, but she should certainly be paying you to support her child.

Spousal support is a very fact-sensitive issue -- it really depends on your circumstances.

You should be aware that the fact that you have been separated this long and that neither she nor you has received any spousal suport raises the issue that she/you seem to be surviving without spousal support and therefore could continue on without it.
