Whether you receive spousal support can depend on your job skills, education, how long you were in the home without an outside job, what his income is, whether you are disabled, what mood the judge is in.

Unfortunately, there's no way to predict whether you would receive spousal support. However, it doesn't hurt to ask the court to order it.

If you don't ask, you know the answer will be no.

Hope this helps. Best of luck to you!
