Going to get a non contested, mutual agreement, no fault kind of divorce. no dependents.
Cash from liquid assets after sale of homne and paying off all debts and cars, about 60,000. spouse has about 10,000 in 401K and so do I.
I want her to keeep all jewelry I have gien her, about 30,000, and keep all but $10,000 in cash after selling and repaying debts.
Alimony question:
I earn 3 times more than her. Am I going to be obligated to pay her alimony? I MIGHT want to help her, but will I be obligated to? She has been working for 6 years.
thanks

You state that it's all going to be done by agreement.

But then you ask if she can force you to pay spousal maintenance.

If it's all done by agreement, no, she can't force you to agree to it.

If that is a contested issue, then the court will decide that. And that means that you won't have a divorce done by agreement.
