What is the name of your state? TX
Being in the military, I know members of the Navy are offered A large sum of money at their 15 year mark, in exchange for a lower retirement %. Along with the e-mails I had stated about in my previous threat submitted with those was a copy of an official tax doc from DFAS that had been whited out in some areas completely(amounts and addresses) and other areas whited out and changed(retyped with different machine). The service member in question is not a party in this suit but the spouse. Although they changed that document trying to hide the money from the courts. I caught it on their income tax statement for that year. All of the docs. have been submitted in a case to have child support reduced and change of custody. What steps besides pointing this out to the judge should I take?X.

If you know for a fact that the document has been altered (and not just some private/nonrelevant info whited out), then the question becomes: was this document sent to you prior to any legal proceedings, or was an altered document submitted to the court as evidence? If an altered/forged document has been submitted to the court as evidence, it is a serious matter indeed. Hopefully you have a lawyer, they will be very happy to contest such "amateurish" efforts to falsify evidence.

As for the UCMJ, this might also constitute "Dishonorable failure to pay a debt" as it involves both the use of deceit and denial of indebtedness.

Be careful before making accusations, however. Ideally, you have a copy of the genuine DFAS document to show precisely how the others altered the copy they submitted. Or you are certain that the tax documents demonstrate the changes to the DFAS document.
