We want to make a couple of very simple changes to our By-Laws that only involve changing the date of the Annual Meeting and election of the Board. We will have a Special Meeting next month to approve the changes. Is there a certain form or format or certain language we must use when having the amendment recorded. If possible we would like to avoid extra expense and just do this ourselves.

Look at your Declaration of Protective Covenants for the answer. Any By-Law changes must be done with a membership vote. If passed as per your requirements for a amendment passage the change must then be registered in your county of residency
