okay... i need some help. am i protected under the 1st amendment if im under 18 and i am still in school? if so, my friend got in trouble for typing some stuff in this biography. and the school suspended her... is that right? she put something about her reading about communism, and stuff similar to that. please help me

My response:

From the moment you are born in this Country, you are protected by the Constitution of your State and of the United States of America - - including the First Amendment (Freedom of Speech, etc.). You don't have to be 18 to be protected, and all that stuff.
