hi, i posted yesterday that we are reconciling and got some helpful advice, but we have another possible problem.
one of our kids (a girl, 14 yo) is against our reconciliation and she wants to stay w/ my parents. my parents are fighting the reconciliation. they hate my husband and see him as a jerk. i went along with them for a while but i love him and hes really not a bad guy.
here's the question. they're threatining that they'll go for custody of the kids or get the law guardian to file to take the kids away from both of us. they base it on the grounds that
a) the forensics crucified my husband and only allowed him supervised visitation, and
b) the kids have shown fear around him, (BTW some of which was influenced by my parents badtalk (in which i was also complicit)), and
c) the idea that if i am going back to live with him, i am nuts too and
d) the kids have been doing worse during this period of upheaval.
we are comitted to our reconciliation. how much of this talk is nonsense and what real things do we need to worry about?
