I becamea Government Contractor working overseas in September of 2004. When I was inprocessing with the Army as a contractor the company (ITT) had a company representative there advising us that we'd be fired if we didn't comply with anything the Army personnel told us to do. This included recieving the Anthrax and Small Pox shots.

After recieving the shots I had begun to get ill more often, including an elevated blood pressure and swollen lymph nodes and such... this is still going on.

I asked my former employere about this, and they sent me a workman's comp form.

What level of responsibility do the Employers have concerning such things?

On an added note, when I got in country two things happened. First, a company rep there said we didn't need to get the shots in the first place... and Second, Federal Courts placed a stop on Anthrax shots.

Since I was there as a Contractor I'm unable to seek VA assistance. I never signed any release with my EMPLOYER concerning these shots.

Thanks
