What is the name of your state (CA)?

In July of 2007 I entered into a contract with a school to attend a 1 week course. After several attempts to come to an agreement when the school could schedule the class and I would be available to travel and attend it, An agreed time was never confirmed. Several attempts have been made for a refund. The amount is $6000
Would I have any recourse in Small Claims to at least recover partial payment for this class?
Their was a contract which I can forward for viewing.

You are well within your rights to sue. File your claim, bring your evidence and let the judge decide.
